tax/exempt sales vs invoice register

Does anyone have an idea on why my Taxable/Exempt sales report totals do not match my Invoice Register total ??

The Invoice Register "amount" includes the sales tax; the total taxable-exempt sales does not. Also, you have to make sure that every customer has a sales tax code in their default or the invoices won't post to the taxable-exempt sales report.

Oh my gosh, thank you! I did not even think of that and I have been working on making sure all customers have the codes because they had that all screwed up.
