Peachtree 2007 in a Windows network enviroment using a mapped drive...
Received error 3110 in SERIAL.dat as the server lost power for an extended time (battery backup died). The usual Fatal File System error also occurred. From here on out, the strangeness started...
No matter which workstation I am using I can log into ANY of the 4 companies properly. Once I go to Reports --> Accounts Receivable/Payable I find that I am MISSING the Vendor Ledger, Customer Ledgers, as well as several other reports! Note that these are NOT custom reports...
I have so far reinstalled the Peachtree Components on the server, restored from a backup to a new company file (including restoring backed up forms), and run Data Verification. None of these options has helped at all. I will also mention that these reports are missing REGARDLESS of the company I use to try and run them.
Based on my troubleshooting I feel like Peachtree somehow lost a report "index" type file that would tell it where all these reports reside. I find it hard to believe that different reports from different areas which were NOT being accessed at the time of power loss were all simultaneously deleted...
PLEASE HELP!
