To many users using the same serial #

When attempting to run Peachtree 2002 version 9, I receive the following error message: "another peachtree user is using the same serial number". We have only one copy of peachtree installed on one computer and only one person uses peachtree.

Does any one know what the problem is?

I have seached this forum, without success.

Generally, you'll encounter this if Peachtree crashes, then you relaunch the program again without restarting your computer. Rebooting your computer should resolve the matter for you.
