Compatability question

We are running PAW 9.0. Recently we got some version 8.0 files from another company to review. Our version expanded the backup fine but will not open the company. Is there any way around this such using our previous version (7.0) ???

Peachtree works fine with previous versions' files, it just simply prompts you to convert. However, Peachtree Accounting CANNOT convert Peachtree Complete's files. Very likely that's the reason if that's PCW80. Otherwise, the backup may be corrupted.
