Hello:
I have Peachtree Complete 2008 Multi-User on Windows XP. I am running a peer-to-peer network, so the "server" is actually on a workstation.
Everything was running perfect on 2 stations until I added a third computer to the mix. It messed up the server station, the main computer. Luckily I had a backup made just prior to installing the third station.
Well, even after the restore, I still had some glitches. So I deleted Peachtree from every station, including the server station.
Most is back to normal, except ONE thing. Every time I go to Employees and Payroll, then Reports, then Quarterly Tax Reports, Peachtree CRASHES. No error message, no nothing. It simply pauses, then I get a WindowsXP error, which basically says something is wrong and wants to know if I want to SEND REPORT to Microsoft.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Peachtree many times now, and the same problem keeps coming back every time. I've done complete clean uninstalls, where I've even gone in and deleted whatever residual folders or files were left behind. Everything was deleted, then a new install was put in place... But still same problem.
I should add that I have not even bothered trying to load the other stations. I'm simply trying to get the server station back to normal before moving on to the others.
Any help or advice would be most welcomed!
Thanks in advance.
