Payroll reports not matching

Unsing Peachtree Complete 2002 and running quarterly payroll reports for the first time. The total wages on the Current Earnings report with Pay Type field selected, are not matching the taxable social security wages on the 941 report. Shouldn't they be the same?

Current earnings and Social Security earnings can be different if you have any pretax deductions (medical ins. 401K etc) These are taken out before withholding tax is calculated so on 941 taxable wages and wages for social security & medicare will be different.
