How do I go about deducting child support and things of this nature from employees payroll?

Go to Maintain, Default Info, Employees, Emp EE.
Change one of the Misc Ded to Child Sup, change G/L acct no..
Then, go to Maintain, Employee, go to the emp needing deduction, employee ee field, child sup, uncheck std & calc, then enter deduction as neg # under amount. It's been awhile but I think that's all you have to do.
