Copying Company Data

Once I have completely setup the base company data, ie Chart of Accts, Vendors, Jobs, Phases, Employees, etc can I copy all the data to another company i.e. "Real Co-Demo" to use as a test company for experimenting with data importing, payroll,etc?

Certainly. After you've opened a new company, you'll see a new folder created under the "datapath" ( e.g. c:\peachw\compname )of Peachtree with a name in 8 characters look similar to your company name. Just copy the folder to a new folder with a different name, then you'll have 2 identical companies.

Be careful if you put both companies in the same place, when you browse for a Peachtree company, they'll appear as same name. So, it's better to put the test one in another place.
