peachtree premium 2007 to slow saving physical inventory

From 5 days I am having big problem saving the physical inventory count. Before I save the inventory without problem, but now took 1 to 2 minutes and others computers can't work making invoices, etc.

How I can resolve this problem

Speed issues are commonly related to AntiVirus Software, Anti-Spam Software and Firewall Software. Ideally, you can exclude Peachtree and Pervasive folders from the AV active scans, as this is the simplest adjustment that typically provides the most performance improvements. Check with your Software publisher or your IT people on the process to do this. The Pervasive Software folder is typically found on C:\PVSW and Peachtree is usually found in C:\Program Files\Sage Software\Peachtree. As well, you will want to exclude the Peachtree data folders on the Server or Host computer.

Note some antivirus / firewall / adware-spyware software programs such as Zone Alarm and Norton Internet Suite have proven to be great offenders.
