I am trying to create a monthly income statement and have designed the report.
The problem is that it currently cumulativley adds each month. ie Feb has Jan and Feb added together, March has Jan, feb and MArch, etc.
Anyone knoe how to get just that particular months figure to appear each column.
All help appreciated,
Thanks

Peachtree 2008 has a standard Financial Report labeled "Income Stmnt - 12 Month".
You can modifiy an existing Income Stmnt to list month by month. Select a standard Income Stmnt and then click on the DESIGN Icon. Right Click on the left side of the screen labeled Column Description and then select Properties. Here you can add columns to your report, arrange the order of the columns and further the reporting time frame for each column (month).
Use Peachtree's HELP Icon and search on "Design a Financial Statement" for additional assistance.

It sounds like under Content you are specifying YTD. Change them to Activity. This will give one month only.

No - Content is already at Activity only
For Activity Amount I have
Qualifier - Net
Time Frame - Current for December
Current-1 for November, etc
Round - None

I have attached a screen shot of my setup. Maybe it will help you.

thanks Laura
That seems to be exactly how I have my report set up. I am assuming that for time frames you have november as current-1, down to january as current-11.
That is the only area I can think of that I may be going wrong on.
thanks

Yes, my January is current-11. Set the accounting period for the report to December so that December is Current month.

Thanks Laura
that did the trick.
I've been using Sage products for the last 10 years in the UK and was always impressed by how date driven their UK products were, but it was fairly easy to write excel spreadsheets to go into Sage data and generate exactly the report you wanted. How different the same company's product across the pond
thanks again
Manish
