PT Wireless Network Connection

We are trying to get Peach Tree to work on a wireless connection, any suggestions?

Use a hard wired network connection. Peachtree can employ some heavy I/O traffic and with a wireless network, the possible or occassional drop or loss in signal can cause you to lose a data packet, resulting in a corrrupted database.

If you insist on using wireless, be sure that you have every element of the wirless network, connected to a UPS or battery backup system, to help minimize any communication problems.

We installed the wireless/wired network without incident. The only thing that didn't work was Peachtree. We then went back to the totally wired network. It seems that the server is having trouble running the Pervasive software.

Pervasive must be able to communicate with the server on an ongoing basis. If there is any communication break then Peachtree / Pervasive will loose its connection with the Server and the connection is not automatically re-established.
