I just upgraded to Peachtree Complete Accounting 2006 from Version 8. My custom statements will no longer print all the information.

The body of the statement lists:
1. Transaction Date
2. Reference Number
3. Purchase Order Number
4. Transaction Sale Amount
5. Amount Due on Invoice

Our statements have a remittance tear-off. The tear-off lists all open invoices (Reference Numbers) and balances (Amount Due on Invoice) so the customer can check off the invoices they are paying. Now the invoice number is blank although the balance due prints. I re-arranged the printing order, but it didn't change.

I can print the Amount Due twice but NOT the invoice number!

Help.....

I am using WindowsXP Professional on a stand alone computer.

I assume you have opened the form in design view and checked to insure the field for invoice number is still listed?

Yes, the fields exist in the form design screen, they just don't show up in preview or print.

Have you tried removing the field, saving the form, then opening and reinserting the field?

Also, I can change the field to Transaction date and it prints fine, I just can't get the reference number to print twice.

It almost sounds as thought the field has lost its relation link to the invoice number data. I agree with the other post to remove it, save, reopen and reinsert the invoice field to see if it relinks itself

I've tried that and just about everything else I can think of and nothing helps. I've used Peachtree since version 3 and have always had custom forms for just about everything I print. This has me baffled...especially since the statement printed just fine in version 8.

FYI - I finally broke down and called Peachtree. I was told that what I want to do IS NOT possible in version 2006. They made changes to the command line(s) and it will no longer recognize the reference number twice (something to that effect).
