Is anyone using this service through Peachtree and can comment on it, good or bad?

I'm considering using it but would love to see some feedback on it to help me decide.

Read the fine print of the contract VERY CLOSELY. I was all ready to sign up, but found the contract to have ridiculous provisions that most merchant accounts don't require. I'm using BB&T for my merchant account, and have been very happy with their service. They may or may not have a presence in your part of the country.

I don't remember the specifics, as it's been a over a year since I reviewed their contract. Just read the wording closely...if you don't see anything that you take issue with then there's not a problem.

BB&T is a regional bank in the southeast US.

Are there other providers that allow you to proces cards directly in Peachtree ?

None that I'm aware of...AFAIK the software is rigged to only allow authorizations through Peachtree's provider of choice. Of course, you can authorize tranactions outside the software, then post the transaction like any other receipt.
