Hanging on Purge

Good am, I am attempting to purge records after doing a ye close, everything seems to purge ok except payables, Peachtree hangs up at approx 22% and after about 20 min I find that Peachtree is not responding, Any Idea what may be causing this, I did a data verification and that showed no issues. I did a couple of integrty checks and no issues. Any idea where to go from here?
