Deposits

I am a fairly new user to Peachtree.

I am a little confused on how I should post deposits not related to customers. I receive wire transfer deposits from investors, cobra payments and other misc types of deposits.

Could someone give me some direction on this?

One approach is to use the Tasks | Receipts screen. Don't fill in the Customer ID field...if you like, you can click in the Name field and post the source there. Then, just fill in the detail lines as needed, then post/save your transaction.
