Is there anyway that I can go in an manually put in a reciept amount? For some reason the payroll check # and person is on the register but not the amount of the check. I am thinking if I could go in and maually enter the amount on the line of the check that would solve all my problems....LOL!!!

I fail to understand the problem. You talk about manually entering a "receipt amount" - this suggests Accounts Receivable module. Then you speak of "the payroll check # and person is on the register..".

You could consider two ideas to correct this problem. First, delete the corrupted entry and then re-key it. Second, you can run the DATA VERIFICATION program located under the FILE menu.
