anybody out there have any experience with edi and peachtree?

Just for your info you do not need to have EDI intergrated with Peachtree in order to have EDI capability. There are many EDI packages out there that will work by themselves. You can receive the orders, send the acknowledgments and even create the invoices with the EDI stand alones. Many people do not realize the expense in integrating EDI software with Peachtree or any other application software. It can be quite costly and involved and cost alot on consulting fees. If you generate hundreds of orders per month and hundreds of invoices per month and those are EDI required then it may pay for your to have the integration. Otherwise just a basic EDI stand alone package may be more practicle for you. If you volume does not dictate to you to have youor own EDI standalone and maybe you are just interested in EDI for one customer there are EDI service bureaus out there that will set you up so they will receive the EDI orders for you and then email you the orders and then you can enter them into Peachtree. I have worked with an EDI service bureau in the past that is very reliable and reasonable in cost.
