importing data

I'm trying to import data into time/expense that was exported from another peachtree company (we are using version 7.0). The import fails at the "Pay Level" of the first record; we have tried it with "Pay Level" selected, not selected, and every combination imaginable, but still the same error. Anyone out there ever seen this and figured out a way around it?

The best way to learn how to import into Peachtree is to export what you want to import from one the sample companies. Open this export file in Excel, then use this as a guide to create your import file. Keep in mind that Peachtree often will report an error on one field during an import, when the problem is actually with a different field.
