I have Premium 2008 on vista. Almost everything works great (especially after I added more RAM) except the list button on the various task screens. After several uses it won't bring up a list anymore. My only option then is to close the program, and reopen it. it will then work a couple more times. has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix available?
Another thing that will happen sometimes is when closing the program it will bring up the back up screen. Even though I have it set for 3 days and just backed up that same day, it might say I haven't backed up in 5 days.
Any help would be appreciated.

Rename the DETAILS.INI file located in your Company data folder. This file can be recreatd with out harm to your program or data files. You can open using NOTEPAD to see your option setting as related to the Backup Reminder, by double clicking on it.
With Peachtree open, check for program updates (Service Releases - SR) by clicking on SERVICES and clicking on CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Renaming helped the back up issue, but not the lists issue. Does anyone have a fix???

The list issue settings are stored in the OPTIONS.DAT file which is located in the Peachtree shared folder. This file may be marked as HIDDEN. Typically, this file is located in the ..\Peachtree\Company folder on the data drive. Again, you can rename this file and Peachtree will create a new one upon opening Peachtree. You will then have to set all of your Global Options, Internet Connection etc. once again.

I tried renaming the options. dat file. I have tested the fix for one day, but the problem still continues. Is there anything else I can try???

Try renaming the UserPref.dat file and allow Peachtree to recreate the file. This file typically holds on user preferences related to Peachtree Today but may also affect the lists.

I tried renaming the userpref.dat This did not relieve the issue either. I welcome any further suggestions.
