We have just installed Peachtree Complete and wondering if, at least for the 1st year, we purchase the unlimited support. I have limited experience with Peachtree so would like feedback on Peachtree Tech Support competence. Is it worth $250 for unlimited support for a year.

In my experience, Peachtree's support has gotten better over recent months. However, keep in mind that they tend to have a firefighter mentality...they're trained to squash problems, not necessarily train you on the best way to use the software.
You can get lots of answers for free from this forum. You should also consider getting a book, such as Peachtree for Dummies (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0764506404/accountingadviso/ref=nosim/).
If it were me, I'd get a book, hang out in this forum, and wait a bit before spending money on the support contract. Conversely, Peachtree does seems to assign their better techs to the support line numbers.

IMO you would be better off spending the money at your local support center where they actually use the product they are supporting.
