Hi,

I need to import a Quickbooks 2002 company file into Peachtree. Can someone give me an easier way than manually importing?

Thank you in advance.

The easy way: write a check to have a consultant do this for you. <grin>

Seriously, I can say from experience that there's not an easy solution to this task if you're looking to do this on your own. If you're new to performing an accounting conversion, you'll have challenges getting data out of QuickBooks, then more challenges importing the data into Peachtree. It isn't that any of this is impossible, but there's several potential stumbling blocks along the way.

With that said, a tool that you can use to extract everything out of QuickBooks into Microsoft Access is available for $69.99 from http://www.synergration.com/AccessBooks. The best guide to structuring the import files for Peachtree is to export from the sample company, then model your data after that structure. Although I need to clean it up a great deal, I have some tips on conversions listed at http://www.accountingadvisors.com/convert.shtml.

Good luck!
