Printing Checks to file

Am trying to get PT to print checks to a file, but it seems to force me to create a new file for every check, instead of a single file with a batch of checks. Can anyone help?

There is no work around I know of. Have you tried printing to a pdf writer and see if it does it as seperate files?

Just curious...why would you want to print checks to a file? Are you subsequently passing the file to a check printing program?

Correct. Have built a system that intermediates the outsourcing of payments, and am having problems getting a single file from PT. Can do so from nearly all other systems, including QB. But PT's check formats don't seem to respond to setting the format to "Continuous" when printing to a file. (End up with one file per check.)

Can you shed any light on this?
