Bill of Materials Problem

I am trying to build an assembly in Peachtree Complete 2007. The inventory item is setup correctly, as an assembly, with the correct quantity needed under Bill of Materials. When I try to build the assembly, the quantity needed of parts shows up as 0. Is there any way correct this without setting up a new inventory item/bill of materials?

When accessing the TASKS - ASSEMBLIES and you have selected the item to build, the Quantities Repquired do read 0 until you enter the ACTION - Build and the QTY. Following the marking Build and entering the number of Assemblies to Build the other fields with then populated as expected with the Quantiities Required.
