When I try to get our Cash Receipts Journal to print or preview I am getting an illegal operation with the following details:
PEACHW caused an invalid page fault in module PEACHW.EXE at 0167:04082034.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Any suggestions?

Try downgrade your IE, reinstall the IE with the one provided in Peachtree's install CD. Then reinstall Peachtree and the patches again.

It is difficult to "downgrade" IE in Windows. There is a great risk to cause other problems since IE is so tightly integrated with Windows. For people who are not familiar with performing such a task, they can cause more problems than they had at the start. Why is "the Proper version" of IE necessary to make PCA function properly?

PS - Thank you for being the ONLY person to respond to my question yesterday!

Downgrade and then upgrade IE again is not as difficult as we think. And, because newer versions of Peachtree have many web functions, it's becoming more closely linked with IE.
Incompatibility with previous verions of IE is a known problem of Peachtree, as you may search Peachtree's knowledge centre for details.
If this happens only when Printing or previewing, I would suspect the printer driver, even if it works with other reports. If you are using an HP printer, try adding the folllowing alternate drivers along side your exiasting one:
HP Laserjet - Try the HP Laserjet Series II
HP Deskjet - Try the Deskjet 520 for Deskjets 800 series or older, and the Deskjet 600 (monochrome) for 900 Series or higher. If its a USB printer make sure the alternate is pointed to the USB 'virtual port' driver during the Add Printer wizard.
Set the alternate to Default printer for testing purposes, then see if you can print or preview. If not, check to see if the sample company can view/print it. Is this a standard report or custom? If standard then you may need to rename the rptdatai.dat in your datapth and reinstall Peachtree. This DAT file is what hold all the 'standard' reports. If its a custom one, see if the standard works. If it does, then your custom report is corrupt. May need to recustomize.

Renaming the "rptdatai.dat" file and reinstalling Peachtree on the server drive worked. No longer getting the error with the cash receipts journal. Thanks! -Shannon
Glad you got it working. :)
