Stock Ledger Error

Dear Friends

We are currently using PCA8. We faced the following problem

We store around two years inventory transaction and eveything look find in the system until recently.

We want to browse stock ledger say from 01/03/2002 to 31/03/2002. The report only appear from 01/03/2002 to 23/03/2002 ( the rest of the data, 24/03/2002 to 31/03/2002 are not appear in the ledger). However, when, we browse from 24/03/2002 to 31/03/2002 the record appear for this period.

We try to run the integrity check and other function. It seem that we don't have any problem appear.

The last sulotion is to purge some of the period data. Only by then the system (Stock ledger) appear correctly.

My question

What is the possible cause for this error?

Any connection with viruses or not?

Waht is the best solution beside purging the database.

I had a similar issue last year and had to start deleting and rekeying transaction for the last day they were showing. Apparently a transaction didn't post correctly and all the others wouldn't show till I deleted and recreated that record. Start with the last transaction that does appear on that report.
