I have a client who made a backup of his data (from PT V.7). He has them on disks (I know ... old habits are hard to break for some) Anyway, it took something like 12 disks and when he goes to restore the data, it will ask him to insert the last disk. When he does, he gets the following message:
The file you have selected is not a valid
Peachtree back up file.
It's a .QIC file. He is working on a Win98 OS.
He is restoring the data to a different desktop. I tried it on another Win98 machine thinking it might be an OS issue, but I still get the same message. I know these are pretty old versions of everything, but any ideas on what I could try?
Thanks!
