Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a question from my warehouse manager that I couldn't answer. He does purchase orders every two weeks, but receives them about a month from when he orders them. As a result of this timetable, he always has a pending purchase order when he places his most recent one. Up until now, he has been printing out a stock status report as of the date he wants to place the purchase order, then editing it by hand by comparing it to what is coming in on his pending order. This seems like extra work to me.
My questions are:
1) Is there a way for him to work from a stock status report that shows items that are pending, but not in yet, without him actually receiving them?
2) If this is not possible, can he receive his pending purchase order at a later date (i.e. post-date it), and then print a stock status report as of that date?
P.S. We're running Peachtree 9.0 but plan on updating to 2003 this year.
Thanks!
