I converted our company data from quickbx to PT Complete.
I entered BB as p/y adjustment. I can see the adjustment in the working trial balance. But the F/S (I/s) shows the YTD column as the total of ALL years.

What is the problem and how can I fix it??????

Please help!!!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

What version of Peachtree? Choose Help, About and report the exact version number. Also, are you using a standard report, or did you create a custom financial statement?

It is 7.0 and I am not using a customized I/S. For starters, I just wanted to get everything right before I start customizing a I/S.

Thanks for looking into this and helping me!

Click on Help, About, and let us know exactly what version: i.e. 7.0.xxxx. The first step is to ensure that you have all of the patches installed.

The next step is to try setting up the beginning balances in the same fashion for a couple of accounts in one of the sample company. If you've got all of the patches, you might have some data integrity issues. If things work in the sample company, but not your live company, then we can suggest some recovery methods.

What else can I do???

Thanks for your help!!

the sample company seems to work fine, beginning balances as p/y adjustement are posted correctly and the Income statement reflects the YTD column correctly.

What can I do to fix this problem.

Thanks again for patiently helping me!

Sounds like your data files are corrupted. Back up your data a couple times, then try running the Repair Company function. If you're not familiar with this, the archives of this forum will get you up to speed.
