Designed checks

Our system recently "lost" our designed checks. Several years ago this happened and I consulted Peachtree tech support about saving a designed check (on a disk - or anywhere). We are now on Peachtree Complete Accounting 2002. Any way to save this newly designed check? Very time consuming and inconvenient to have to redesign a check.

Lets see if I can do this off the top of my head - Go into reports then right-click on the form in question. Choose Preview then choose the Format Tab. You will see a path and filename associated with the form. This is the file you can backup.

Alternatively, make a Peachtree backup (File/Backup). This will place a copy of your custom forms into your company folder. You can then just go into that folder, and backup all the files with the .frm extension.

FYI, all custom form file names have a sequence of numbers in the name that begins with 00 (ex. INV00001.frm). Standards have a 01 (ex. INV01001.frm.) Hope this helps.
