Good day all,

I am in Period 23 of my Peachtree Premium Accounting (2008) and the software has started coming up with prompts that I will not be allowed to enter data into my Payroll in the next period unless I run a Year-End Wizard.

Does anyone know what the Peachtree Year-End Wizard is all about and how it works? It processes as well?

Regards

Temi

The YE Wizard is very friendly. The process forces a data backup before actually starting the YE Closing for your protection. When finished the program will close your current accounting period 1-12 and will renumber your current period 13-24 to now read period 1-12. Your new accounting period numbers 13-24 will represent next year or January 2009 - December 2009. When the YE process has completed the close, you should then backup your data again, but this time change the backup file name so that it does not overwrite or replace the pre -close backup file.
