I have three separate legal entities that are all in different industries. Therefore they are set up in different companies in Peachtree Premium with different chart of accounts. So I cannot consolidate them all together, which really doesn't make sense anyway. However, I like to have certain reports show all three companies for review and analysis purposes. I have been exporting data from each company to Excel and designing my own reports. I would like to use Crystal Reports that comes within Peachtree Premium to report the same data. However, I cannot figure out if it is possible to build a report and pull data from all three companies in Peachtree?

Any advice? Thanks.

When using a Peachtree Consolidating Company, only the Parent Chart of Accounts needs to have one of every account used in one or all of the subsidiaries. The Retained Earnings account must be the same account number in all of the subs. You can use the Change ID feature in the Maintain COA's in each company to allow you to change the account number to read the same in all cases. Then you can use the Financial Design program in the parent or consolidating company to allow the desired financials.

You may want to consider the services of a Peachtree Certified Consultant to assist you in achieving your wants.
