In Version 7, we designed and printed checks on blank check stock. We used a MICR font to encode the check number, bank routing number, and account number. The alignment and size of the MICR font was within the regulatory tolerances.
After upgrading to Version 8, the font sizes are noticably smaller. Using the same fonts and size designation, the MICR characters no longer fall withing the tolerances. I have tried "bolding" the font and changing sizes, there is no combination that makes font the right size.
Peachtree recommended that I build new checks from one of their standard forms. When I added the MIRC font, the size was still off.
Can anyone tell me how to regain the Version 7 font sizing on Version 8 forms.
Thanks for the help.
