We are using Peachtree Premium 2007 and have tried updating the SR-6 without any success. At times it acts like it is running fine and other times it says it can't find a peachtree product. When we log back into PT the updates were not completed. We are unable to update the payroll tax service until the SR-6 is updated. At this point we are unable to write our payroll checks for any date in 2009. Any suggestions?!

Try rebooting Windows into SAFE MODE (F8 at the start of the reboot process) and then migrate to the Updates folder where you will find the SR6 update file. Execute the SR6 file from this location. When finished, simply reboot. This method should remove the possiblities of confilicts with other programs such as Antivirus, Firewall, Spyware.
