For some reason, some of my cash customer sales have posted to the same date but in 2007! I have gone back to recheck the invoice dates, posting dates and cash account, and they are correct. For example, the date of the invoice is 12/30/2008, the invoice register and sales journals all show the invoice as 12/30/2008, and the cash receipt journal shows the cash received on 12/30/2008. But, when I go to account reconciliation, the entries appear on 12/30/2007. Anyone have any ideas?

Your CASH RECIEPTS Deposit Ticket Reference has to be UNIQUE. In your cas it is not. Peachtree is associating the current period receipts with those posted in 2007. Open the 12/??2008 Reciepts and change the Deposit Ticket number, possibly by adding a unique suffix and Saving again. This should correct the problem.
Every deposit needs to have a unique deposit ticket ID. It sounds like you may be repeating deposit ticket IDs that were used last year.

Actually I use the date as the unique ID. ( IE: 12/31/08) This has never been a problem before. I had even deleted and re-entered the transactions, and they still post to the 2007 date.
