Renumber Chart of Accounts

I need to renumber my chart of accounts. Does anyone know if Peachtree allows this.

Not directly. You have two options:

1. Rebuild the company
2. Set up the new account numbers in Peachtree, transfer the balances from the old accounts to the new accounts via journal entries, then make the old accounts inactive.
