Invoice SHOW Discount if paid by

is there a way to have invoices says AMOUNT DUE = $100. DISCOUNT amount due if paid by x date = $70. (*usually 15 days out)?? AR is so critical yet except for old fashion fiance charge in peachtree or 2% net (which no one pays attention to now a days), i haven't seen anything easy to use and calculate. I know my AP vendors that use the above have great succes.

Peachtree doesn't offer a facility within the program to do this. The only thing that remotely comes to mind is to somehow jury rig the sales tax calculation, if you're not already using sales tax. Otherwise, you'd need to look to an external solution, like a custom spreadsheet that interfaces with Peachtree, or PawCOM
