Purchase Journal Import problems...

I'm trying to rebuild our company to switch from a fiscal to calendar year. I have successfuly imported all the lists (employee, customer, job, etc.) and am working on getting the journals in. So far I have imported both General Journal and Purchase Order Journal (in that order with no problems) and am getting errors when I try to get Purchases Journal imported. My error reads something like:

Line 3, Field Item ID:
"The PO distribution Item ID does not match Item ID in PO record. Hit OK to continue and not import this record, Cancel to cancel the process....."

When I hit "ok", many other lines have the same error - but not every one.

Does anyone have an idea what this error means? I am not sure what PeachTree is trying to compare here. When I review the .CSV files in Excell, as far as I can tell, PO numbers match up.

The software is notorious for claiming that there's an issue with one field, when really it's something else. Your best bet is to export from the sample company then import back in. If you get that to work successfully, then replicate the field settings in your rebuilt company.
