Select for Deposit is empty - PLEASE HELP!

Hello. I am running Peachtree Complete Accounting 2003. Today I went in to "Select for Deposit" to make a deposit, and the checks I have rec'd since my last deposit are not showing. Actually, all I see in the "Select for Deposit" window is old purged transactions from 1998 thru 2006. I can "see" the checks via the Receipts window, so Peachtree knows they're there somewhere. Also - I have already made 2 deposits in 2009, but when I try to open them, Peachtree shuts down. We did a purge of all transactions dated 12.31.06 and before, so that shouldn't have affected this, but..... Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Two Steps here. One is to backup your data files and then open the Select for Deposit. Select ALL of the purged line references as you would a regular deposit and save. Two, close here and click on FILE, DATA VERIFICATION and run this process while accepting alll of the default settings.
