i/o error with audittr.dat

When I log into a company on Peachtree I get a message saying I/O error. cannot read or write to Audittr.dat
Is this file specific to my accounts or can I just reinstall and overwrite this file?
Anyone know?

You should be able to delete this file and just let Peachtree create a new copy. It simply tracks the actions of users within the program. Make sure you make a back-up copy of the file before you delete it, though.
