Quotes not deleting

when i convert a quote to an invoice, about half the time it does not leave quotes, and i have to go in and manually delete it. Is there any way to stop this?? I am using Quantum 2009. Did not have this problem in previous Peachtree programs.

Currently Peachtree by design forces the removal of a Quote when it is converted to a Sales Order or a Sales Invoice. I am not aware of any situation where a Quote remains in the database following conversion.

You may want to run the DATA VERIFICATION Process located under FILE.
