I looked in the archive and saw nothing. perhaps i'm looking in the wrong place but nothing there seemed to relate o my prob. please help??

Visit www.peachtree.com, choose Support, then Knowledge Center. Log in, then search for Windows NT. There are several documents posted regarding running Peachtree on an NT network. Make sure that your installation is as prescribed in the documents. Alternatively, search the archives for Windows NT to view recent network discussions.

The Nt network is setup just fine. and peachtree was working just fine. so why should i investigate the network ???

The error that you reported is related to multi-users on a network. Peachtree is very sensitive to network installations, so I recommended that you make sure you're following Peachtree's recomendations to the letter.
