Since we have become an ISP, we are sending several hundred customers invoices monthly. We want to send them an ebill directly from Peachtree. I have explored many work arounds, but nothing yet that will allow me to do what I want. Could anyone help me with a patch or perhaps a DDE (with which I am unacquainted) procedure? The PDF attachments do not help me. Thanks.

If you're sending hundreds of invoices, you don't want to do this from within Peachtree. In this case, the process of e-mailing invoices is best done with either through an Access database or Excel spreadsheet. The spreadsheet or database would then post the completed transactions into Peachtree for accounts receivable tracking purposes.

DDE is one solution, PawCOM is another. I have DDE tips available at www.accountingadvisors.com/dde, or you can learn about PawCOM at www.accountingadvisors.com/pawcom.

Your processing can be completely automated. If you're not sure where to start, assistance from a consultant is your next step.

There is a freeware program called PdfMailer that takes the place of your printer and creates an email with a PDF document of your printout attached.

But I agree with liztreb, you will probably want to use some automated 3rd party system instead of printing and emailing hundreds of invoices per month one-by-one.
