Using Peachtree Complete Accounting 2006. We have done year end purges each year since 2001. There is still some data from 2004 that is in our current company folder and some that is no longer in our company folder. It appears that data that had open balances at the end of 2004 remained in. This sort of makes sense.
What doesn't make sense is that we have done year end purges each year since. Shouldn't the data with zero balance in 2005 be purged by now?
We answer No to reconcilation at the time of the purge.
Any insight would be helplful.
