We have a peer-to-peer network configuration and our problem is that the printing duties keep defaulting to the printer attached to the computer that peachtree was originally set up on. Every time another user wants to print a document on their computer, they must change the printer setting to their local printer, as it defaults to the computer on which the peachtree upgrade was installed. We are running into serious warehouse issues due to misdirected printing tasks.
We just want to set the printer default to each workstation's respective printer. Please advise.

You can point a report or form to a specific printer by highlighting it in the Report Window and choosing Design In Design hit the Options button, then the Printer button on that window, choose the printer you want to print it to, OK out of all the windows, then save it as a custom report/form.

How would you direct the printing duties for invoices/packing list to a specific networked computer printer (peer-to-peer)? This is more pertinent to our business.

The printer must be mapped to the station you are working from. Then go into design view of the form/report, select the setup (or options if you are on release 7 or below) button, select the printers button, in the drop down area select the printer, click OK till you are back to design view and then select save. save it with a different name than the original.

The trick here is that the printers have to have the same name. If they are named differently then the program will not be able to find the assigned printer and print to the default.
Another workaround is to create a custom form for each workstation.
