inventory questions

I have questions regarding inventory. Our company did not record inventory receiving with corrent unit cost and quantity. But right now, we like to have right inventory data in PT.

In order to have correct quantity, we have added or substracted quantity in inventory adjustment. One of my question is if COGS will be misleading. Another question is that we can't change unit cost at all.

Anybody can help?

The adjustments that you made will affect your COGS. You will need to make a manual journal entry to adjust for it.

You can't change the unit cost of items in inventory. The most common solution is to adjust everything out of inventory and then adjust if back in at the correct cost.
