Error in 2008 Complete....

Good day everyone,
This is my first post in this forum, and i really hope if you guys can help me out.

I am trying to run a GL report within a company, but i get an error

" To view this report in the current window, you must enter a date that is within an open year"

(even though i am in the current year of the Gl report i am trying to run)


Any help would be greatly appreciated

Start to address this error message by opening your Company and clicking on FILE and then click on DATA VERIFICATION. Follow the prompts and accept all of the default settings. When finished try to run your report.

If the problem persists, change your current accounting period to Period 1 and then set up the Peachtree Integrity Checks and re-index the file labeled GENERAL.DAT, followed by clicking on the Data Synchronization Test - Chart / Journal.

Always, create a data backup before attempting to run any data repair.

If all of the above fails, then you can click on the DAMAGED DATA Icon at the top of this screen and ask to have your data professionally evaluated for repair.
