My company was using Peachtree Release 8.02.044 and we recently purchased a copy of Version 9.0. After installing the V9 and converting the data, we found that it was a single user version.
I retored the Release 8.02.044 backup and went back to using the 8.02.044.
Some of our staff cannot open the company file and receive the error message:
"This is not a valid peachtree company".
Some users, including myself, can get full access to the company data, while others can't even get access to the log on screen.
I tried to uninstall the release 8.0 for the affected users and re-install/update it 8.02.044. Same error message came up. I tried a new installation for a new user and he also got the same error message.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
