How to pay subcontractors

Hi I'm using complete 2009 and would like to pay my subcontractors a percentage of the work performed.

How can I set this up (i.e.: Contractor #A get 1/3 of the sale for work performed)?

The way I do this is to set up a PO to the subcontractor with either a quantity one line item or multiple lines showing each fraction of the total. Then when you get the bill, you would either put .33 in the amount received(or just put the dollar amount in and PT will calculate the fraction). You need to be careful of the total with the last transaction when you do it this way because of rounding errors. If you use the multiline PO method, it will be easier.
