The problem with the incorrect data is I try to get sales-6/30/02 and I get
information form 6/00 and such. The reason I know this is I looked up one order
that was showing as sales in 6/30/02 and it was billed on 6/14/00 and paid on
10/23/00. I also pulled up a customer and it showed him invoiced 4/02 paid 4/02
put in the listing on his history it was really 4/00 and paid 5/01. These years have
been closed.
Any ideas?
Thanks

It would appear that you have serious data integrity issues. The archives contain guidance on using the Integrity Check and Repair Company features, which is what I would run next, in that order, in your situation. If the Integrity Check doesn't resolve the issue, then resort to the Repair Comany. Make lots of backups before and after you attempt each step.
Good luck!

Try this to see if it corrects:
Customer/Journal Sync Test
Please change to accounting period one before doing the following.
Loading Peachtree with Integrity Check
In Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, NT, or Windows2000:
Go to the Start Menu and Choose Run
Type in c:\peachw\peachw.exe -i
This will load Peachtree with two new options under the FILE menu. Never choose these options without being instructed to do so by a Peachtree Technical Support Person.
Choose File and Integrity Check.
Choose to make a Backup.
In the Integrity Check Screen, run these tests:
Check off Reindex Files on the left and choose Customer on the Right and click OK
Go back into File->Integrity Check. Click Continue.
Check off Reindex Files on the left and choose Journal on the Right and click OK
If you are using release 7 then make sure your release number starts with 7.0.03, if it does not go to www.peachtree.com/update7 and get the update file and run it.
If you are on release 8 you should be on release 8.0.02 or higher. If not you will need to go to http://www.peachtree.com/html/updates_available.cfm
In Release 8 and above the Journal file has been split into two different files, Jrnl Header and Jrnl Rows. Choose these files in Release 8 or hogher, instead of the Journal file.
Go back into File->Integrity Check. Click Continue.
Check off Customer/Journal under the Data Synchronization Tests and click OK
Take note of any errors encountered along the way.
Once the test is done, check your reports to make sure the problem is resolved.

Since Peachtree wants me to upgrade to Peachtree Complete Account 2003, do you think the problem will just continue? I would really like to get this fixed. I tried to find the Integrity Check or Repair Company it said not to do any of this without contacting a Tech person??? The other problem I have is I did make a back up this morning, but won't the problem still be there? I don't have any idea how far back it goes and the server that the data is on is backed up by ADP support team, and they don't help with Peachtree problems as they don't have people that know the program. I am thinking this could all have happened when we upgraded to Complete in 2000 and we just now find out about it when we had a major meeting wanting figures!
Is this Integrity check something I can do on a multi-user system, as that is what we have?
Thanks for the information
