I found that after setting up companys and after entering a year transactions i found out that my fiscal year is not the same as payroll tax years and it goes like this;

fiscal year - September to August
Payroll tax years - January to December

How i can make the payroll tax year change to September to August?

Thanks and good day!

The payroll tax year IS the calendar year Jan - Dec regardless of your fiscal year.

what you are trying to say is we cannot change the payroll year from its defaults?

The IRS dictates that all US based payroll will be reported based on the Calendar Year. Your GL will collect information form the payroll module and will record it based on your Fiscal Accounting Year. Your configuration is a very common one. In short, you will report your payroll to the IRS and Social Security Admiinstration, as required, on a Calendar Quarterly and Calendar basis. Your General Ledger will collect and report your payroll expenses based on your Fiscal Year, of September to August.
